Tango Louisville
Managers: AJ Spencer and Loki Lebedenko
What to expect:
Tango at the Louisville Rec Center will be a seminar course 8 weeks long in which we will be building foundational Tango knowledge in new dancers. This will only be an hour course, so practice time and social dancing will have to be saved for other occasions. We are aiming to create new dancers and to drive community growth. This program is one that we are hoping to bring to other locations in addition to the Louisville Rec Center.

Payment:
This program is only for Louisville Rec Center members for the moment. They accept cash or credit card, and you can sign up at the front desk.

Policies:
As with all productions by Tango Futuro, we are guided by both the Tango Futuro Safer Spaces Policy, the Tango Futuro Operations Policy and the Tango Futuro Volunteer Policy. Full versions can be found on the "About" tab on this site. The shorthand version of the policies are that we strive to create a space where people can feel safe and comfortable and will be treated fairly by our organization. This program also complies with Louisville Rec Center guidelines, which can be found on their website.

Philosophy:
This seminar course is in alignment with several projects that we are working on in the background. These projects range in scope and complexity, but all strive to reach out to new interest groups and find new opportunities to have Tango in Colorado. We saw an opportunity to bring Tango to a place where people wanted to work on their coordination and balance in a fun but structured way. We hope to expand this to neighboring Rec Centers as a transferable program.
